c0937 Red Lycra Costume with "3D" silver, Hip Cutouts $325

Like most of the costumes on this site, this was a one-of-a-kind piece hand crafted by an Egyptian artisan. THIS COSTUME CAN NOT BE ORDERED. Will there be more? Individual artisans will occasionally repeat designs, but never exactly and rarely in the same color. It's impossible to say if or when these will show up or in what size or color. YOU CAN'T ORDER THIS COSTUME. Thank you.
Made in Egypt. Very very true red! Loads of beautiful beading. I call this the firecracker costume.
Decoration primarily glass silver seed beads in 3D looping stitch (with tiny silver seqins at base). Scattered small doublets of red sequins held down with red beads scattered on bra, hip area. MANY small crystal rounds (3/16"?), look like glass (in the ends of most of the starburst lines in hip beadwork). Also a number of 1/4" real crystal rounds scattered over skirt, 5/8 stones on bra (mix of real glass and nice acrylic). Fringe bunches of silver glass square cut bugle bead with silver round metallic accents on hips to mid thigh, tastefully placed (not overwhelming) on bra, both cups and back straps. Wide center fringe on bra is glass square cut bugles, red and silver. 1" red very nice acrlic starburst crystal at center of bra, circled by glass rhinstone string which also hangs down into frige a couple of inches.
Skirt is fitted to slightly flaring (two gores in back). Slit over each leg. Long ladder cutouts on hips/thigh sides backed with nude mesh. Slit edges and hem trimmed with looping silver glass seed beads and sequins.
Bra is halter strap. Cups are heavily padded (easy to remove, pick out a few linining stitches).
Accessories: Came with none. Added 1 long gauntlet. Fabric of gauntlet is red metallic but goes with costume very well, beading is extremely similar. Large enough and has spaces between beadwork enough to cut into two gauntlets.

Bra comes very padded. WITH padding, Should fit range including 34 C/D (may need to bring cups together), 36 B/C+, 38 A+/B+. WITHOUT PADDING, should fit range including 34 DD+ (may need bring cups together), 36 D/DD (may need bring cups together), 38 C/D . Max underbust = 37"
Skirt Top: Fabric relaxed = 30", stretches to 36".
Has narrow elastic, a bit flimsy. Will fit several inches smaller with stronger/tighter elastic added. Likely will need stronger elastic for most sizes due to weight of skirt. Even if skirt fits with it's own stretch, it's advisable to add elastic as the fabric will not hold its memory forever. See easy tip here.
