Click for Large Photo. Note: flash was really reflecting off of the gold overlay of the fabric; it doesn't come across so harshly in real life. Pictures below of same style costume, same fabric, in smaller size (SOLD, not available) are closer to "real" look.
Shoulder straps are not made to cross; back straps of bra are long and most people probably will need to remove and reattach the shoulder straps so that they fit appropriately.

Like most of the costumes on this site, this was a one-of-a-kind piece hand crafted by an Egyptian artisan. THIS COSTUME CAN NOT BE ORDERED. Will there be more? Individual artisans will occasionally repeat designs, but never exactly and rarely in the same color. It's impossible to say if or when these will show up or in what size or color. YOU CAN'T ORDER THIS COSTUME. Thank you.
If large version photos don't seem very large, especially the detail, which should be pretty gigantic (on most you should be able to see individual beads, though some aren't that large), you may need to do this (applies to Internet Explorer (IE) only): Click the "Tools" menu at the top of the IE window. Click "Internet Options". Click the "Advanced" tab. You'll see a "Settings" list of items you can check or uncheck. Scroll down until you see the heading "Multimedia." There should be a checkbox setting something along the lines of "enable automatic image resizing." You DON'T want automatic image resizing, so uncheck the box if it's checked. CLick the "OK" button. "Automatic image resizing" takes images IE considers too big and makes them smaller, so you never are sure if you are seeing an image at the size the website author intended. Turning off "automatic image resizing" simply means you will see all images at their "real" sizes, it will not affect anything else.
Made in Egypt. This unique costume has many design details that make it a steal at this price, and definitely a change from your run of the mill skirt and bra. Lightweight, comfortable stretch fabric with gold metallic overlay of tiny random dots, very closely spaced. Very unique beadwork pattern, has a lot of vertical movement, gives appearance of cascading down skirt. Beadwork coloring and design is perfect for the fabric -- not too busy. Looping overlapping gold glass seed beads surround clear iridescent red sequins (really pretty), with some gold holographic sequins. The circle shapes have concentric circles of seed beads, silver metallic rounds, and small red rhinestone chains. Rich center fringe on bra is gold glass square cut bugle beads tippped with gold metallic rice beads.
The skirt is really the showpiece of this costume. In addition to the lovely beadwork, there is a fairly substantal panel of soft red mesh on the left side hip, just forward of full left and just behind being centered over thigh. It runs all the way from top of skirt to hem, about 2" wide at top and flaring to about a foot and a half at the hem. About a foot down, slits start on both sides of the mesh. On the back of the skirt, the top point of an inset of mesh starts discreetly but a little teasingly several inches below the back zipper, widening to about 4 feet at the hem (no slits). Just standing the skirt appears to be a nice but fairly standard shape, fitted around the hips and gradually flaring out (not a super-curved fit-to-flare). However, when you start to move, the skirt flares out beautifully.
All edges of the skirt and bra are trimmed with closely spaced overlapping gold glass seed beads (top of skirt, hem, red/gold fabric sides of slits, border of stretch and mesh fabric, all edges of bra). The mesh side of the two front slits are edged in looping gold seed beads and clear iridescent red sequins, as is the hem of the mesh.
Accessories: None.

DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL ME WITH SIZE QUESTIONS OF ANY KIND UNTIL YOU HAVE 1) READ THE LINKED PAGE ABOVE (How to Buy A Costume that Fits), 2) READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION OF THIS COSTUME INCLUDING NOTES GIVEN WITH THE SIZES, 3) TAKEN YOUR MEASUREMENTS NOW AND CAREFULLY COMPARED THEM TO MEASUREMENTS GIVEN FOR COSTUME IN QUESTION. Please! I'm overwhelmed with emails/calls, which keeps me from posting new costumes! It may be hard to believe, but many, many questions are answered by taking a little time to do this -- even if you think you understand my measurements and/or know yours. Even if you are totally confused (or only know your size in a non-US format - page gives help converting). If you still have questions after that, I'll be delighted to answer them (please email vs. phone if you can -- love to talk to customers, but much easier for me to answer emails quickly) . Thank you VERY much, I greatly appreciate it! - K
Bra (click here for important info on notations): Should fit range including widish 36 B+/C/small D, 38 B/C. Max underbust = 41".
Skirt Top: Fabric relaxed = 29", stretches to 34".Has no elastic. Will fit several inches smaller with elastic added. Likely will need elastic for most sizes due to weight of skirt. Even if skirt fits with it's own stretch, it's advisable to add elastic as the fabric will not hold its memory forever. See easy tip here.
Skirt Hips: Fabric relaxed = 34", stretches to 39"
Skirt length: 39"
Age/Condition: New.

How to Buy a Costume that fits". Explains my sizing methods and how to measure yourself. Also tools for converting to/from non-US sizes. Plus quite a few alteration tips and what to expect from imported costumes. Link to this also on Site front page.
AFTER reading all info, Email inquiries if possible, it's easier for me to quickly answer emails vs. phone calls. Include number AND, please, name/title of the costume(s). FAQ's & Helpful Info(below)
Q:"How long will it take to get my order? How much is shipping?"
A: For full detail on carriers and rates see Quick Help- Shipping. Total time to receive your order is the Processing Time (time until delivery to shipper: document processing, costume prep, packing, waiting for the 10 orders ahead to be shipped, etc.) PLUS the shipping transit time. Normal processing time is from 1 up to 7 business days. Currently, due to brisk business, closer to 7 days. Standard shipping within the US takes 2 to 5 days; roughly $11-$17. Shipping costs outside the USA vary greatly. VERY rough examples: Canada, generally the higher end is in the $30 range. Europe, Japan, South Asia, expect at least $50. You are responsible for any customs taxes. Expedited shipping (overnight, guaranteed 2 day, etc.) - ask specifically for costs in your initial request.
Q: "I'm a (for example) 38 bust and 35 underbust, I wear a size 10, will this costume fit me/can you tell me what costumes will fit?" or, "I don't understand the measurements you give."
A: Read "How to Buy a Costume that fits". You need to know your correct bra size and current measurements, then compare to the measured ranges given, which are done very carefully and in which I invest a lot of time so that you can make informed decisions. You MUST do this before asking questions or for any opinion about fit. Link to this "How To.." also in grey column always on left of the Site.
Q: "I really like costume xyz but it says says "SOLD" or "SOLD OUT". Are there more? Can you email me personally when something like it comes in? Can I order it? Can I order something like it that's not on the website? Can I order costume abc in a size not on the website? "
A: No.
Q: "How do I order?"
A: Read "How To Order (US)" or "How To Order (from outside US)". Links to these also in grey column always on left of Site.
Q: "Can you hold/reserve a costume for me?"
A: Yes. It's called "Reserve Ordering." You pay the full merchandise cost (without shipping) immediately, without contacting me (of course please do if you have questions about the costume). FIRST read "How To Order (US)" or B>"How To Order (from outside US)", which include Reserve Ordering.
*****************************
Know you want it? Make sure you get it by "Reserve Ordering" - immediately send payment for merchandise amount only and it's yours. You'll then owe for shipping. PLEASE do NOT add extra or try to estimate shipping cost. Read "How To Order" for details, obligations.
Need it fast? Send event name/type & date, I'll let you know if it's possible. Email will get you fastest replies. In some circumstances you may be charged a rush fee; whether and how much (never more than $20) depends on so many variables and the circumstances at the exact time of your order there is no way to provide a pre-calculated list of charges. My philosophy: if it doesn't disrupt OTHER people's orders or cause real extra work for me, I don't charge anything to get something to you as quickly as I can. If I'm so swamped that it does cause significant disruption, that means there are costs to me which I have no choice but to pass on to you as additional (rush) fees (or I'm out of business -- I keep prices as low as I can and have very little margin).
. Rush charges may apply.
If any question arises, the first person who pays at least the merchandise price in full for a costume gets the costume (must follow up with shipping payment, if paying separately). Asking for shipping cost or asking for a costume to be held or promising you're going to pay do not hold a costume.
Thank you!
