SOLD OUT Made in Egypt. A nice set with extra details not usually seen at this price point. Stretch fabric is very nice orange color, not neon and not muddy; super-fine, fairly widely dispersed silver iridescent glitter on fabric seems well attached (not coming off in showers).
Standard costume bra (unpadded) with sewn on cover of the orange fabric including completely integrated long sleeve and fabric "back." Bra back straps fasten with hook & bar, fabric cover fastens over this with velcro strip. One shoulder strap. Side with sleeve does not have a bra strap underneath.
Skirt is a four gored "fishtail" (fit to flare) cut, with additional flare from 8 triangular soft orange mesh insets. Waist straps appear to be meant to cross in front (they angle that way). They could easily be removed.
Beading design in small gold bead outlines with fills of gold and dark orange holographic sequins. Bra edges (including, somewhat oddly, the back straps of the bra which are covered by the fabric), top of skirt, waist straps edged in closely spaced looping gold glass seed bead trim. Skirt hem edged with looping bead and sequin trim. All seams between insets and fabric covered with line of gold or dark orange holographic sequins. Plentiful fringe accents in hip beadwork are groups of 3 strands, gold glass seed bead tipped with large gold rounds and clear light orange faceted acrylic beads.
Accessories: Matching beaded gauntlet (one, since costume top has one long sleeve).
Sizing: Large Bra, Medium-Large Skirt
Bras: Should fit range including 36 D/DD, 38 C/D+.
Age/Condition: New. There is a group of irregular white spots front left center just below fringe (scroll down to bottom of page for photos). One little less than dime size with a smudge, one is a 1" long narrow drip, one is a 1/4" oval. Definitely looks like food (ice cream?), is thickish, can kind of scrape some off with finger nail. Guessing this will wash out. Lighter white on top, can see where it's soaked and spread into fabric (sounds worse than it looks).
This was a single run of a custom order, a one-of-a-kind group; once they're gone, they are gone.
THIS COSTUME CAN NOT BE ORDERED INDIVIDUALLY.
Will there be more? Extras of troupe orders are always made, many
of which are sold through this site. It's possible the stray piece will show up, but it's
impossible to know when/how many. It's also possible that a popular costume will be made
again in multiples for off-the-rack sales, but it can't be said when.
