SOLD Like most of the costumes on this site, this was a one-of-a-kind piece hand crafted by an Egyptian artisan. THIS COSTUME CAN NOT BE ORDERED. Will there be more? Individual artisans will occasionally repeat designs, but never exactly and rarely in the same color. It's impossible to say if or when these will show up or in what size or color. YOU CAN'T ORDER THIS COSTUME. Thank you. Made in Egypt. Lycra costume, well made with a very refined look and details that have no business at this price point! Well thought out bi-color design uses primarily royal blue fabric, with smaller areas of yellow that contrast well but don't look like a circus. Beadwork outlines in yellow-gold glass square cut bugle beads, sequins of iridescent blue and yellow as well as holographic silver, plenty of punch. Very attractive looping design of wide beadwork lines. Fringe accents around hips and also well below made up of nice mix of beads (not plain seed or bugles):silver round metallics, blue and yellow (on the same bead) glass beads, and large iridescent acrylic teardrops Skirt is pull on, fitted around hips and flaring out, well tailored with four gores (panels) of fabric. Well finished, completely cased 3/4" fabric around entire skirt top. Slit to mid/upper thigh level, hard to say whether it's intented to be worn center front or on the side, either seems to work as far as the cut of the skirt. Personally I think it looks most elegant on the side. Bra is halter style. Halter straps are wide with scalloped edges. Gorgeous 1" square real glass crystal at center, rich center bunch of fringe (same beading as on skirt, but longer). Back straps are double straps of nice beefy 1" elastic. Edges of bra and of skirt slit trimmed with overlapping stitch of iridescent yellow-gold glass square cut bugle beads. Accessories: Two large soft cuffs, easily large enough for upper arms or ankles and then some; fabric headband. Yellow headband uses matching sequins/beads, looks like it came with this costume. I had the cuffs left from who knows what; the yellow fabric matches almost perfectly. Beading colors match also, if you look at them w/microscope you'll see they aren't all the same beads as used on the costume.
Sizing: Bra (click here for important info on notations): Farily well padded, pretty much even thickness over entire cup, but not so padded that there's barely any room. As is (padded), should fit range including 34 B/C+, 36 A (may need a little more padding)/B/small C (getting full). Without padding, 34 C/D, 36 B/good solid C but not gigantic. Cups are on the shallow side, fairly tall relative to width, with average to steep cleavage. Back straps are elastic, "underbust" from about 28" to 34".Skirt Top: Fabric relaxed = 26", stretches to 33". Fully cased 3/4" elastic all the way around top of skirt; plenty of fabric to go to 35" or so if you cut into casing and loosen (cut, re-stitch cut ends down at more relaxed length). Skirt Hips: Fabric relaxed = 32", stretches to 39" Skirt length: 35.5" Age/Condition: New.
