Like most of the costumes on this site, this was a one-of-a-kind piece hand crafted by an Egyptian artisan. THIS COSTUME CAN NOT BE ORDERED. Will there be more? Individual artisans will occasionally repeat designs, but never exactly and rarely in the same color. It's impossible to say if or when these will show up or in what size or color. YOU CAN'T ORDER THIS COSTUME. Thank you.

Made in Egypt. This is a spectacular dress, incredibly elegant, gorgeous beadwork, very high quality; as usual in person is many more times striking than in photos. Nice quality lycra, long sleeve ends are soft mesh (not chiffon). "3D" beadwork, lots of it, in silver and gold glass seed beads, a few crystal accents, ample fringe accents throughout hip beadwork. Separate bra decorated in back as well, dress open in both front and back as well as side cutouts.

Note: the dress is actually a medium to large size and is too large for the model, who is 5'7", 36 B+/C, 35" hips. It is clipped (safely, with rubber tipped clips to protect beadwork) to tighten and make it look on her as it would on a body the correct size for this dress.

Bra (click here for important info on notations):
Should fit range including wide 34 C/D+/maybe DD (would be a squeeze), 36 B+/C/possibly small D.
True Waist: As is, best fit probably a minimum of 32" to maximum of 36"; with some relatively simple work could go several inches smaller. The weight of the beadwork and the small amount of fabric between all of the cutouts tends to pull the between fabric down and away from the body, even on larger sizes. Dealing with this will both help dress fit closer to larger sizes, and make it possible to go smaller. I've done this in similar situations: in between fabric can be elasticized vertically, or even reinforced with something completely non stretchy. Also can put 1/4" elastic around edges of cut outs. Also can add an inner waist band of elastic to help hold skirt up. Also can make small darts, even through beadwork, to make smaller around.
Hips at widest: Fabric relaxed = 37", stretches to 44"
Length, from center top of shoulder to hem: approximately 55"

  • Know you want it? Make sure you get it by "Expedited Ordering" - immediately send payment for merchandise amount only and it's yours. You'll then owe for shipping. PLEASE do NOT add extra or try to estimate shipping cost. Read "How To Order" for details, obligations.
  • Normal processing time (time until your order is shipped) is from 1 up to 7 business days, rarely as long as 7. However due to recent backlog, I'm tending to need the whole 7 days. I'm close to being caught up and processing times are shortening.
  • Need it fast? Send event name/type & date, I'll let you know if it's possible. Email will get you fastest replies. . Rush charges may apply.
  • If any question arises, the first person who pays at least the merchandise price in full for a costume gets the costume (must follow up with shipping payment, if paying separately). Asking for shipping cost or asking for a costume to be held or promising you're going to pay do not hold a costume.
