SOLD OUT
There are NONE left in any color. I have absolutely no idea if these will be available again; if they are I'll do my best to get them. They can NOT be ordered. Unfortunately I don't have the resources to personally alert people when something they like or similar to what they want comes in (I get 100's of requests like that), I wish I could. It will be extremely helpful and save both your time and mine if you would please NOT contact me asking if there are any more (NO), if there WILL be any more (ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA), if you can order this (NO), or if I can tell you when there are more (NO). Thank you very much. - K
Troupe ordering (5/6 or more): Something similar to this item MAY be orderable in quantities of 5 to 6 or more; I would have to check. No matter what, it's generally impossible to order and get exact replicas of a costume, even with photos, etc. If an item is available for multiple ordering, you submit a detailed request of what you would LIKE, and you will get something of equivalent style, but rarely exact. Troupe ordering is best done just prior (but not TOO last minute) to supplier's trips to the Mid East, generally in February and August (varies somewhat year to year). Deposits required. Contact me (Karolinka) for details, but please only if you are serious, as the process is fairly time consuming. Thank you!
If large version photos don't seem very large, especially the detail, which should be pretty gigantic (on most you should be able to see individual beads, though some aren't that large), you may need to do this (applies to Internet Explorer (IE) only): Click the "Tools" menu at the top of the IE window. Click "Internet Options". Click the "Advanced" tab. You'll see a "Settings" list of items you can check or uncheck. Scroll down until you see the heading "Multimedia." There should be a checkbox setting something along the lines of "enable automatic image resizing." You DON'T want automatic image resizing, so uncheck the box if it's checked. CLick the "OK" button. "Automatic image resizing" takes images IE considers too big and makes them smaller, so you never are sure if you are seeing an image at the size the website author intended. Turning off "automatic image resizing" simply means you will see all images at their "real" sizes, it will not affect anything else.
7/24/08 Only Red and Orange Left, double-check below for current availability and sizing.
Made in Egypt. These are stretch fabric with glitter the same color as the fabric (no beadwork). Glitter is tiny metallic pinpoint spots, randomly scattered. They do shed glitter somewhat, but it's not outrageous. Cut to fit closely to hips and flare widely at bottom (approximately 105" around the hem). No slit. Back Zipper. Matching long gauntlets.
Fabric is lightweight and comfortable. This design is the same that is used very frequently as the base for expensive beaded costumes, very flattering. There are two flaring gores (sections) in the back, which gives the nice curve over the derrier, one piece across the front. Darts in top, fits very smoothly. As is the case all to often with group costumes, there is no elastic at the top. However, these are fairly stretchy and if you are on the smaller half of the "Skirt Top" measurement range you can probably get away with out any, at least for a while. Short back zipper, all seem to lay nice and flat.
Fabric doesn't unravel (same as most lycra), so seams are simple, no finishing on inside raw edges (you rarely see anything more than this). They are securely sewn, andf abric edges aren't going to disintegrate over time (like unfinished chiffon). Overall seems a very nice set.
Alterations to make smaller OR larger should be a breeze, nothing tricky and no beading obviously. These are all cut from identically sized pieces of fabric, and small variations in size are due to the amount of seam allowance left. Unless noted, they all have at least 1/2" on each side of seam, total of 1" additional (well, 3/4" since you can't sew RIGHT at the edgle) at each seam to let out if necessary. And of course making smaller very simple, just run a new seam inside the original.

> Click For "How to Buy a Costume that Fits", explanation of my sizing, how to apply it to you, also some tips on altering. VERY HELPFUL
DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL ME WITH SIZE QUESTIONS OF ANY KIND UNTIL YOU HAVE 1) READ THE LINKED PAGE ABOVE (How to Buy A Costume that Fits), 2) READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION OF THIS COSTUME INCLUDING NOTES GIVEN WITH THE SIZES, 3) TAKEN YOUR MEASUREMENTS NOW AND CAREFULLY COMPARED THEM TO MEASUREMENTS GIVEN FOR COSTUME IN QUESTION. Please! I'm overwhelmed with emails/calls, which keeps me from posting new costumes! It may be hard to believe, but many, many questions are answered by taking a little time to do this -- even if you think you understand my measurements and/or know yours. Even if you are totally confused (or only know your size in a non-US format - page gives help converting). If you still have questions after that, I'll be delighted to answer them (please email vs. phone if you can -- love to talk to customers, but much easier for me to answer emails quickly) . Thank you VERY much, I greatly appreciate it! - K
Sizing
All are made from the same size fabric pieces. Slight differences in the two groups below are due to amount of seam allowance left. There may be additional small differences that show up if you try on one right after another, but are not large enough to accurately measure.
None have elastic. Depending on your size you may not need elastic if skirt is snug enough on you. However, even if skirt fits with it's own stretch, it's advisable to add elastic as the fabric will not hold its memory forever. See easy tip here
1005-A Blue SOLD OUT
1005-B Red SOLD OUT
1005-D Champagne SOLD OUT
All have seam allowances of 1/2"-5/8" on each side of every seam. All are same size:
Skirt Top: Fabric relaxed = 28", stretches to 36".
Hips at Widest: Fabric relaxed = 33", stretches to 38"
Skirt length: 37".
1005-C Orange SOLD OUT
Slightly larger than other colors, because seams sewn a little closer to fabric edges, meaning seam allowance is less, generally under 1/2" on each side of seams.
Orange 1005-C-1: SOLD
Skirt Top: Fabric relaxed = 28", stretches to 37".
Hips at Widest: Fabric relaxed = 34", stretches to 40"

FAQ's & Helpful Info(below)
Q:"How long will it take to get my order? How much is shipping?"
A: For full detail on carriers and rates see Quick Help- Shipping. Total time to receive your order is the Processing Time (time until delivery to shipper: document processing, costume prep, packing, waiting for the 10 orders ahead to be shipped, etc.) PLUS the shipping transit time. Normal processing time is from 1 up to 7 business days. Currently, due to brisk business, closer to 7 days. Standard shipping within the US takes 2 to 5 days; roughly $11-$17. Shipping costs outside the USA vary greatly. VERY rough examples: Canada, generally the higher end is in the $30 range. Europe, Japan, South Asia, expect at least $50. You are responsible for any customs taxes. Expedited shipping (overnight, guaranteed 2 day, etc.) - ask specifically for costs in your initial request.
Q: "I'm a (for example) 38 bust and 35 underbust, I wear a size 10, will this costume fit me/can you tell me what costumes will fit?" or, "I don't understand the measurements you give."
A: Read "How to Buy a Costume that fits". You need to know your correct bra size and current measurements, then compare to the measured ranges given, which are done very carefully and in which I invest a lot of time so that you can make informed decisions. You MUST do this before asking questions or for any opinion about fit. Link to this "How To.." also in grey column always on left of the Site.
Q: "I really like costume xyz but it says says "SOLD" or "SOLD OUT". Are there more? Can you email me personally when something like it comes in? Can I order it? Can I order something like it that's not on the website? Can I order costume abc in a size not on the website? "
A: No.
Q:"How do I order?"
A: Read "How To Order (US)" or "How To Order (from outside US)". Links to these also in grey column always on left of Site.
Q: "Can you hold/reserve a costume for me?"
A: Yes. It's called "Reserve Ordering." You pay the full merchandise cost (without shipping) immediately, without contacting me (of course please do if you have questions about the costume). FIRST read "How To Order (US)" or B>"How To Order (from outside US)", which include Reserve Ordering.
*****************************
Know you want it? Make sure you get it by "Reserve Ordering" - immediately send payment for merchandise amount only and it's yours. You'll then owe for shipping. PLEASE do NOT add extra or try to estimate shipping cost. Read "How To Order" for details, obligations.
Need it fast? Send event name/type & date, I'll let you know if it's possible. Email will get you fastest replies. In some circumstances you may be charged a rush fee; whether and how much (never more than $20) depends on so many variables and the circumstances at the exact time of your order there is no way to provide a pre-calculated list of charges. My philosophy: if it doesn't disrupt OTHER people's orders or cause real extra work for me, I don't charge anything to get something to you as quickly as I can. If I'm so swamped that it does cause significant disruption, that means there are costs to me which I have no choice but to pass on to you as additional (rush) fees (or I'm out of business -- I keep prices as low as I can and have very little margin).
. Rush charges may apply.
If any question arises, the first person who pays at least the merchandise price in full for a costume gets the costume (must follow up with shipping payment, if paying separately). Asking for shipping cost or asking for a costume to be held or promising you're going to pay do not hold a costume.
Thank you!
