Net Paillette Dresses     $35 6/4/08 - IN STOCK, see below for list of colors and sizes. Made in Egypt. Soft, loosely (open and somewhat stretchy) woven net. Usually a v neck with a simple tie. All with lengthwise stripes of colored mylar (metallic) threads. The stripes aren't solid surfaces of color, they are also "open," the metallic threads weave in and out within about a 3/4" wide strip (each stripe a different color). This adds a nice subtle dimension and definite touch of color without being obnoxious or hard to mix with other colors. Lengthwise strips of paillettes, sewn directly to fabric. One size fits most. All are straight cut, approximately 46"-48" minimum around (measured with fabric relaxed; does stretch several inches). This is as accurate as I can get; the fabric stretches and moves around. However, any major deviations from these measurements will be noted with the specific dress in the "In Stock" list. Lengths are listed with individual dresses in the "In Stock" list. Variations that may or may not be in stock: Long or short cap sleeve (6/4/08: as far as I know, we are no longer carrying the short sleeve version) Paillette color - usually multicolor or gold, infrequently something else. Paillette size - most are "regular" size (3/4"), some are "large" (1"). Neck ties (simple strips near top of V neck opening) - Many are coming without. They aren't necessarily needed and often the ones that are there are a little sloppy (frayed, too short). Tack on a couple of nice pieces of ribbon or other trim. All are long sleeved. All are the "normal" 3/4" paillettes. The notations below correspond to:
Fabric color (all have multi color mylar stripes)/paillette color, x" = approximate length from top of shoulder to hem, x"-x" = unstretched circumference (measured lying flat) - approximate maximum stretch (the max especially is very ballpark, but they will go at least to this).

• 4). SOLD Yellow/Multi, 47", 35"- 39".
• 5). Yellow/Multi, 51", 39"- 42".
• 6). SOLD Red/Gold, 50", 38"- 41".
• 7). Red/Gold, 54", 40"- 44".
• 8). Purple/Gold (previously mistakenly described as Silver), 53", 46"- 49".
• 9). SOLD Purple/Darker Gold (still definitely gold, just happens to be darker than the rest of this batch), 55", 46"- 50".

   

  Below are examples, not the exact dresses in stock. Primarily, all are now long sleeve (see photo of the yellow, below). They show all of the colors currently available (6/4/08 - photo of purple is on the way; it's a true jewel tone purple, not lavendar, not dark eggplant), and this is essentially what they look like.
