c0902 Turquoise Waist Strap Fancy Costume $260
CLEARANCE $220
5 in stock, see below for sizes and availability.
If large version photos don't seem very large, especially the detail, which should be pretty gigantic (on most you should be able to see individual beads, though some aren't that large), you may need to do this (applies to Internet Explorer (IE) only): Click the "Tools" menu at the top of the IE window. Click "Internet Options". Click the "Advanced" tab. You'll see a "Settings" list of items you can check or uncheck. Scroll down until you see the heading "Multimedia." There should be a checkbox setting something along the lines of "enable automatic image resizing." You DON'T want automatic image resizing, so uncheck the box if it's checked. CLick the "OK" button. "Automatic image resizing" takes images IE considers too big and makes them smaller, so you never are sure if you are seeing an image at the size the website author intended. Turning off "automatic image resizing" simply means you will see all images at their "real" sizes, it will not affect anything else.
Made in Egypt. Beautiful turquoise stretch fabric with turquoise metallic overlay (tiny close random dots). Incredible amount of beadwork and detail for this price point. Beadwork mostly glass beads (iridescent and plain turquoise seed beads, long smooth silver bugles). Accents of cool clear blue acrylic beads with inner white round bead. Many crystal accents (probably acrylic, very nice). Four 5/8" rounds surrounded by large rhinestones in hip beadwork, five on bra with additional scrolls of large rhinestones. Some sequins in tiny flat gold, turquoise and gold holograhic. Slight differences in design placement, but all go together.
Halter bra, farily deeply cupped. Not all exactly the same, but most tend to have wide, deep cleavage; you may need to put a couple of stitches in at bottom of V to bring cups together some. Connection to skirt is permanent. Top part is actually two separate pieces of fabric coming down from each cup to the ring (I liked the effect of folding back the inner edges so that it made the pieces narrower and you could see they were separate). I believe the ring is actually plastic.
Skirt is fitted in hips with a slight flare, slit over left leg. Fringe accents in hip beadwork. NOTE: per "age/condition," below: the very first thing you should do is glue or tie these fringe bunches on the inside, they do come out!
Accessories: Matching beaded gauntlets, headband.
Sizing: Scroll down below photos.
Age/Condition: New. BUT WHY SO CHEAP????? This costume, in both overall design and beadwork (including the amount of work, the beautiful design, quality of the beads and crystals and quality of the beadwork) I would expect to be selling for at least $100 more. They were made in bulk, for one thing. And honestly, there are some small things that come from workers going fast, that you wouldn't see in a $350 costume... although wait, I take that back, you'd be suprised at the garbage you see on some expensive costumes (YOU never see it because I fix it :)! ). IF I HAVE TIME I will take care of most of this, which is what I usually do on all costumes. However, because I am keeping the price to YOU low, I'm making very little on these and I need to keep my invested time down.
Primarily I'm referring to one thing: a lot of the beadwork threads on the inside are not tied off, they are just stitched through a few times and then a looooong piece of thread left. This is actually pretty standard practice, but I usually tie them off or glue them off at least on stress points of the costume, that generally means where it's most likely to be stretched (hips, waist) or roughed up (hems, edges). Actually, where the fabric is not pulled much, it's probably ok to leave as long as beading isn't actually loose on the outside, and on these everything is generally nice and tight. You'll have to take care of this (and it's actually good practice to do so on all your costumes!). This likely will be most evident on the skirt top and hem edging, which get a lot of handling wear, and so is more likely to pull loose. So check over carefully and tie off or glue loose ends. If there is major bead loss I'll take care of it.

DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL ME WITH SIZE QUESTIONS OF ANY KIND UNTIL YOU HAVE 1) READ THE LINKED PAGE ABOVE (How to Buy A Costume that Fits), 2) READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION OF THIS COSTUME INCLUDING NOTES GIVEN WITH THE SIZES, 3) TAKEN YOUR MEASUREMENTS NOW AND CAREFULLY COMPARED THEM TO MEASUREMENTS GIVEN FOR COSTUME IN QUESTION. Please! I'm overwhelmed with emails/calls, which keeps me from posting new costumes! It may be hard to believe, but many, many questions are answered by taking a little time to do this -- even if you think you understand my measurements and/or know yours. Even if you are totally confused (or only know your size in a non-US format - page gives help converting). If you still have questions after that, I'll be delighted to answer them (please email vs. phone if you can -- love to talk to customers, but much easier for me to answer emails quickly) . Thank you VERY much, I greatly appreciate it! - K

* Fabric relaxed -
stretches to fit approximately. Skirt Tops: a lot of elastic, you can loosen as needed, but I think
this max is about it for the fabric
** Skirt length: just the skirt, doesn't include any stomach strap.
*** Stomach strap length: total around including ring.
**** Vertical Stomach Connection: height of everything from skirt top to
bra bottom, relaxed - stretched. The stretch max would be pretty tightly
stretched. |

"How To Order (in USA)"
"How To Order (from outside USA)"
How to Buy a Costume that fits". Explains my sizing methods and how to measure yourself. Also tools for converting to/from non-US sizes. Plus quite a few alteration tips and what to expect from imported costumes. Link to this also on Site front page.
AFTER reading all info, Email inquiries if possible, it's easier for me to quickly answer emails vs. phone calls. Include number AND, please, name/title of the costume(s). Include ZIP CODE (country if non-USA) if you want shipping cost (just your city won't do it). But if you need to call, no problem: 352-373-4991.
FAQ's & Helpful Info(below)
Q:"How long will it take to get my order? How much is shipping?"
A: For full detail on carriers and rates see Quick Help- Shipping. Total time to receive your order is the Processing Time (time until delivery to shipper: document processing, costume prep, packing, waiting for the 10 orders ahead to be shipped, etc.) PLUS the shipping transit time. Normal processing time is from 1 up to 7 business days. Currently, due to brisk business, closer to 7 days. Standard shipping within the US takes 2 to 5 days; roughly $11-$17. Shipping costs outside the USA vary greatly. VERY rough examples: Canada, generally the higher end is in the $30 range. Europe, Japan, South Asia, expect at least $50. You are responsible for any customs taxes. Expedited shipping (overnight, guaranteed 2 day, etc.) - ask specifically for costs in your initial request.
Q: "I'm a (for example) 38 bust and 35 underbust, I wear a size 10, will this costume fit me/can you tell me what costumes will fit?" or, "I don't understand the measurements you give."
A: Read "How to Buy a Costume that fits". You need to know your correct bra size and current measurements, then compare to the measured ranges given, which are done very carefully and in which I invest a lot of time so that you can make informed decisions. You MUST do this before asking questions or for any opinion about fit. Link to this "How To.." also in grey column always on left of the Site.
Q: "I really like costume xyz but it says says "SOLD" or "SOLD OUT". Are there more? Can you email me personally when something like it comes in? Can I order it? Can I order something like it that's not on the website? Can I order costume abc in a size not on the website? "
A: No.
Q: "How do I order?"
A: Read "How To Order (US)" or "How To Order (from outside US)". Links to these also in grey column always on left of Site.
Q: "Can you hold/reserve a costume for me?"
A: Yes. It's called "Reserve Ordering." You pay the full merchandise cost (without shipping) immediately, without contacting me (of course please do if you have questions about the costume). FIRST read "How To Order (US)" or B>"How To Order (from outside US)", which include Reserve Ordering.
*****************************
Know you want it? Make sure you get it by "Reserve Ordering" - immediately send payment for merchandise amount only and it's yours. You'll then owe for shipping. PLEASE do NOT add extra or try to estimate shipping cost. Read "How To Order" for details, obligations.
Need it fast? Send event name/type & date, I'll let you know if it's possible. Email will get you fastest replies. In some circumstances you may be charged a rush fee; whether and how much (never more than $20) depends on so many variables and the circumstances at the exact time of your order there is no way to provide a pre-calculated list of charges. My philosophy: if it doesn't disrupt OTHER people's orders or cause real extra work for me, I don't charge anything to get something to you as quickly as I can. If I'm so swamped that it does cause significant disruption, that means there are costs to me which I have no choice but to pass on to you as additional (rush) fees (or I'm out of business -- I keep prices as low as I can and have very little margin).
. Rush charges may apply.
If any question arises, the first person who pays at least the merchandise price in full for a costume gets the costume (must follow up with shipping payment, if paying separately). Asking for shipping cost or asking for a costume to be held or promising you're going to pay do not hold a costume.
Thank you!
