Made in Egypt.

Please note: This was a very difficult color to photograph/and or have appear on monitors accurately! It is definitely a strong bright orange, pretty close to "neon" but I wouldn't quite put it there. It is NOT sherbet/pastel-y. I believe the flash was washing it out some; adjusting for that makes me (the model) look like I spent a month in a tanning bed; and I'm still not sure if it comes across correctly. You certainly have to like strong colors to like this, but it's NOT off-putting, the costumes are very cool looking.

Very well made set. All lycra sarong-style pull-on skirt. Fully cased wide elastic "waist," lays nice and smooth. Very nicely tailored, not just a straight skirt. Shirred (gathered) around and down hips to a long line above slit over one leg. Fabric flares generously around slit (I've started thinking of these as "lapel flares," because of the way they fall, showing a flat area of beadwork). Hint: not necessary, depends on your taste: the several folds of the "lapels" can obviously move around, cover each other or arrange themselves so beadwork doesn't show until you move so that it does. I have a couple of other costumes with this detail on the slit, and I put a few stitches (ok, I lie, I safety pinned them and they'll probably stay saftey pinned forever), in appropriate spots to help hold the top decorated layer open and on top.

Beadwork is outlines and edging of gold glass seed beads in raised looping stitch, "flame" fills are sequins of iridescent orange/red holographic/gold holographic. Fringe accents around hips and center of bra are gold glass seed bead with gold metallic and clear orange faceted acrylic accents.

Accessories: Matching beaded gauntlets (gloves) and soft headband.

Age/Condition: New.

Sizing:
> Click For "How to Buy a Costume that Fits", explanation of my sizing, how to apply it to you, also some tips on altering. VERY HELPFUL

DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL ME WITH SIZE QUESTIONS OF ANY KIND UNTIL YOU HAVE 1) READ THE LINKED PAGE ABOVE (How to Buy A Costume that Fits), 2) READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION OF THIS COSTUME INCLUDING NOTES GIVEN WITH THE SIZES, 3) TAKEN YOUR MEASUREMENTS NOW AND CAREFULLY COMPARED THEM TO MEASUREMENTS GIVEN FOR COSTUME IN QUESTION. Please! I'm overwhelmed with emails/calls, which keeps me from posting new costumes! It may be hard to believe, but many, many questions are answered by taking a little time to do this -- even if you think you understand my measurements and/or know yours. Even if you are totally confused (or only know your size in a non-US format - page gives help converting). If you still have questions after that, I'll be delighted to answer them (please email vs. phone if you can -- love to talk to customers, but much easier for me to answer emails quickly) . Thank you VERY much, I greatly appreciate it! - K

Bras
PLEASE read:
- Brief Explanation of notations used below.
- Underbust measurements are NOT a good way to judge bra fit, please read this (short).

On these particular bras, the cups are as close together as they can get, so any wide-ness would be solved by the tilting method described above. The cups are a nice non-extreme shape, not super tall or super wide; medium depth, nice curving top edge for average cleavage. I think the maximums I have here are pretty much IT, trying to fit more in very risky. You never know, different body shapes, etc. etc., but I was trying to be as inclusive as possible, and a little less conservative than I usually am.

  • 2). SOLDShould fit range including 34 B+/C+/small D, 36 A+/B/small, possibly medium C. Max underbust = 33.5".Note: pen tip spot (like a felt tip pen, greyish; probably stray from bead pattern marking) far right of right cup, right next to bottom of flame shape (sew a gold bead over it, no one will notice. Or don't sew anything on it, no one will notice).

  • 3). Should fit range including wide 34 C+/D/small, possibly medium DD, 36 B/C+ (C+ will be full). Max underbust = 34".

  • 5). SOLD Should fit range including including extra wide 34 D/DD (may take fair amount of altering), 36 B+/C+/possibly small D, 38 B/C . Max underbust = 36". Note: What looked like about 1/2" thin pen line on bottom half of left cup, had a wide water mark around it which I was able to clean up, no longer there; also removed much of the pigment from the line but it's still there, now a little less defined and lighter. Not terrible, a little more work rubbing/patting/drying/feathering with damp cloth might get rid of it entirely. Will work to get a photo; ask if you are interested in this bra but concerned & I haven't posted photo yet. Completely useable for peforming without any more cleanup, but it is there.

Skirts

Skirts all very similar in size except definite difference between the smallest (1 & 2) compared to the largest (6 & 7), but otherwise all really quite close to each other in size. In general I think these will be very versatile in sizing; can be worn low or high, quite stretchy and probably will go a little more than what I've got at least for hips, though depends on body shape, total size, etc.

Measurements are not just fabric relaxed/stretched, but educated estimates of the real body sizes they'll reasonably work on. Skirt top has fully cased (fabric coverd) 1" elastic all the way around, well sewn, lies flat. Possible to loosen by cutting into casing and cutting elastic.

  • 3). SOLD
Top of skirt: should fit minimum of about 29", maximum of about 34-35".
Hips at widest: should fit minimum of about 33", maximum of about 37-38".
Length: 36" (length of back; resulting length of front when allowing top of skirt to dip down as design intends)

  • 4). SOLD

    FAQ's & Helpful Info(below)

  • Q: "I really like costume xyz but it says says "SOLD" or "SOLD OUT". Are there more? Can you email me personally when something like it comes in? Can I order it? Can I order something like it that's not on the website? Can I order costume abc in a size not on the website? "
    A: No.
  • Q:"How do I order?"
A: Read "How To Order". Link to this also on front page.
  • Q: "Can you hold/reserve a costume for me?"
A: Yes. It's called "Expedited Ordering." You pay the full merchandise cost (without shipping) immediately, without contacting me (of course please do if you have questions about the costume). FIRST read "How To Order" which includes Expedited Ordering.
  • Q: "I don't understand the measurements you give."
A: Read How to Buy a Costume that fits". Explains my sizing methods and how to measure yourself. Link to this also on front page.

    *****************************

  • Know you want it? Make sure you get it by "Expedited Ordering" - immediately send payment for merchandise amount only and it's yours. You'll then owe for shipping. PLEASE do NOT add extra or try to estimate shipping cost. Read "How To Order" for details, obligations.
  • Normal processing time (time until your order is shipped) is from 1 up to 7 business days, rarely as long as 7. However due to recent backlog, I'm tending to need the whole 7 days. I'm close to being caught up and processing times are shortening.
  • Need it fast? Send event name/type & date, I'll let you know if it's possible. Email will get you fastest replies. . Rush charges may apply.
  • If any question arises, the first person who pays at least the merchandise price in full for a costume gets the costume (must follow up with shipping payment, if paying separately). Asking for shipping cost or asking for a costume to be held or promising you're going to pay do not hold a costume.

    Thank you!
