c0830 White/Silver Metallic Dress with Mesh Midriff $175
Made in Egypt. Silver metallic (very tiny closely spaced dots) on stretch fabric. Beadwork in glass tumbled silver square cut bugle beads, some small silver metallics. Sequin fill (not a lot) in white iridescents, silver holographic. Several groups of small crystals on bra. Minimal 3 strand fringe accents around hips. Moderately fitted in hips, flares fairly quickly to moderate flare. Slit over left leg. Slit and hem edged in overlapping glass silver beads. Bra cups integrated into dress, cups only, no back straps. Probably intented to have shoulder straps, which are unattached in back (just as well as you almost always have to move them). You could also make halter straps. Midriff of single piece of unseamed soft white mesh, all the way around. Very pretty, has a lot of beadwork, but may need some help in bra and midriff; see size chart for details. Accessories: Matching beaded gauntlets.
Sizing: Scroll down below photos Age/Condition: New. But see size charts for engineering issues. Also, at these low prices (due to lack of time on my part), I will not be going over these with fine tooth comb. Any major bead loss of course I will take care of, but thread trimming, tying off, missing small crystal here or there, will be for your enjoyment.

| Important notes, issues with dresses: 1) Midriff mesh is single piece, no seams, so it doesn't curve in; in fact it is more likely to puff out. I believe you could put equivalent of large vertical darts in it, both on sides and back (like princess seams). 2.) "Bra" is cups only, no back strap. Mesh is very loose around top back. Minimum, elastic needs to be added attached to bra cups, across back top. More likely you'll need to add actual bra straps AND elastic to back top of mesh. There is only narrow beadwork along top of mesh to sides of cups, so you'll have to be ok with whatever you put in there showing (won't matter, you see it all the time). Cups are fairly shallow and tend towards horizontal (less plunge). 3.) Seamstresses used black and blue very juicy markers to outline bead patterns, and the dots show. From audience distance, just looks like shadowing or actual blue tint to beadwork, close up its obvious. Some more so than others. Howver, even the "worst" are not that bad from a distance. |
